Online and offline competitive multiplayer is going to be available in Fast Racing NEO, according to developer Shin'en Multimedia. They revealed this news during the PAX event Nindies@Night.
Fast Racing NEO is meant to recapture the intense racing gameplay of the F-Zero series. This has not had a new installment on a Nintendo platform since 2004.
This fast and futuristic racing game of hover vehicles will allow up to eight players to race against each other online. This will allow for some intense action as everyone competes for the finish line.
The game will also have a split screen feature. This will allow up to four players to play on the same console by syncing up four additionial controllers to the Wii U.
Fast Racing NEO is similiar to the F-Zero series in spirit, carrying its usual fast, futuristic racing style. The game will be released sometime in 2015.
